ALICE DOWN THE PLUG HOLE

As you can see there were some colourful character on the loose

What a weird and wonderful performance piece this was.

This project was an animated installation piece of theatre.  With a large cast we transformed the milton building in huddersfield into a weird wonderland.

Taking inspiration from alice in wonderland we placed the audience in the role of alice as the curators guided them room by room to watch different pieces of performance which they were also allowed to interact with.

My character never left his mop and bucket!!!

We included the audience in as much of the performance as we possibly could.

My role was of a curator or a museum guide i had the job of creating a character and guiding my audience group around the building.

I decided on a janitor that was destined to wander the halls and make sure everything was clean.  I interacted with my group and encouraged them to get in on the action and have fun.

Improvisation was a key factor in this role as there were no lines all we had were quirky out of this world characters.

This was very enjoyable and kept both me and the audience on our feet.
